Praise for the House
La Revue du Vin de France honoured us by highlighting the “impressive progression” of Philipponnat in its comparative classification of Champagne Houses, going from 13th in 2013 to 5th in 2024: making a grand entrance into the club of the 5 most prestigious Houses, alongside Krug, Roederer, Bollinger and Jacquesson. What led to this success? “Considerable work put into the vines, on the facilities, and in the cellar,” which pays dividends for the consistency of the range, progression over several vintages, and the House’s dependability. This classification, achieved over ten years, is a wonderful recognition of the House’s never-ending efforts to offer the best of Champagne each year. Thank you to La Revue du Vin de France!
For its December edition, the American magazine Wine Enthusiast chose the 2014 Clos des Goisses cuvée, with a score of 99/100 points, to include in its Top 100 Cellar Selection for 2024. The 2015 Clos des Goisses and 2018 Extra-Brut Blanc de Noirs cuvées are also featured, with scores of 99 and 94 respectively, while the Non Dosé was selected for “Editor’s Choice” with a score of 93, exceptional for a non-vintage. Thank you to Wine Enthusiast for this recognition
